Last night Lauren & I braved the cold wind & spent some time shooting photos on the Brooklyn Bridge. Despite the cold we had a great time & got a lot of fun shots. This is my favorite of the ones I took.

I feel conflicted, liking this photo. Because on the one hand, damn, that’s a beautiful shot; good job, photographer. But on the other, it’s a natural disaster, and the people who have to deal with it aren’t going to be thinking what a good photo it makes. They’re going to think about how omg molten lava coming towards me oh shit, or else fuck all this ash in the air is probably going to give me lung cancer.
